For the first time in a touring show, a musician will play the music live on special piano for each representation of the new show Blizzard.
Multi instrumentalist Ben Nesrallah composed and will play live every song on the new show Blizzard. An original touch to the show, making it very authentic and allowing to bond the music with the acrobatics. As opposed to a recorded soundtrack, the musician follow the acrobat’s mouvements and can even adjust the tempo when the artists are improvising on stage.
The key instrument is the piano, a futuristic piano specially altered to allow the musician to expand his sonority pallette. Hidden in secrets drawers are a sound module and a synthesizer. Nesrallah can then create sounds effects live and tweak the different note of his piano on stage. A few times during the show, wind, radio waves and other sounds are added to the music to further expand this landscape where blizzards and snowstorms are omnipresent.
The acrobats are also featured in a few songs, singing along with the musician, involving the public even more in the experience. Making Blizzard an audacious show that touch the audience and make them laugh.
