STAGE TECHNICIAN (generalist)

As a generalist technician, under the supervision of the Production Manager, you will, among other things:

+ Gather needs for creative rehearsals and attend them
+ Create schedules for setting up/dismantling rehearsal locations
+ Draw the various elements of the decor (plantations) and the scenic changes
+ Work hand in hand with the director, artists, designers and production team
+ Collaborate with suppliers for requests for quotes and equipment purchases
+ Continuously produce and manage production documentation (we are talking here about data, plans, sheets, list of suppliers and quotes, and much more!)

During the touring shows:

+ Carry out the necessary follow-ups with the rooms visited, in order to ensure the effective preparation of the tour
+ Produce plans and technical schedules for the targeted rooms
+ Coordinate technical operations for each room
+ Ensure the planning and proper functioning of lighting and sound in the room
+ Assist the artists and operate the consoles during technical validations,
rehearsals and performances.

+ You handle these software: Autocad, the Office suite as well as Qlab and Wysiwyg (an asset)
+ You live in the Quebec region (this would be ideal, but you can note that it is not mandatory)
+ If you want to drive the show, both in control and on the road, all at the wheel of a truck (class 5)… You are really the person we need!
